Postdoc, **Barnabas Daru** (Davis Lab), is lead author of a study published in [*New Phytologist*](http://dx.doi.org/10.1111/nph.14855) that points to sampling biases in a number of herbarium collections around the world. Daru suggests that researchers focused on climate change should take these biases into consideration.
