I work in biology, with research interests ranging from plant ecology and biogeography to molecular phylogenetics and biodiversity informatics. I live in [West Kalimantan](http://www.geonames.org/1626376) (Borneo), Indonesia, and try to help conserve the magnificent forests of Southeast Asia, and to build local scientific capacity. I am employed by the [Arnold Arboretum](http://arboretum.harvard.edu/people/campbell-webb/) of Harvard University. I also advise a combined health and conservation project ([ASRI](http://alamsehatlestari.org/); cf. [HiH](http://www.healthinharmony.org/)) focused on the nearby [Gunung Palung](https://www.google.com/search?q=gunung%20palung&tbm=isch)national park.
